Canterbury Crescent basketball court, Brixton
Nestled within Canterbury Crescent estate, this basketball court is one of the most stylised, down-to-earth and colourful courts in London.

- Beautiful colours
- Mural places audience in location of the film
- Genuinely a nice basketball court to play on
- Not much foot-traffic due to it being so tucked away
Cons
- Light rarely actually shines on back wall in winter or spring due to position of the sun and a large tree blocking the sunlight.
- Can sometimes be noisy as it is next to a busy street (Pope Court Road) and construction
Overall
This is by far the best court I've come across. Others are either too populated with other basketball players or don't have the same visual appeal.
However, I need to make sure filming is done earlier in daylight hours rather than later. Position of the sun in later hours means court is almost entirely shrouded.
Roosters Spot
I know I wanted a chicken shop and I think this is the one.
Pros:
- not very busy
- is a believable chicken shop
- is actually in Brixton
- is well lit
Cons
- isn't as well known or as quintessential as Morley's (Morley's is just too busy though)
- can be very loud (might need to dub)
